BPC has a highly skilled team in abrasive blast cleaning and the related application of general and specialty coatings. We have successfully completed dozens of field assignments in a variety of sectors, including water and wastewater treatment facilities, electricity transmission and distribution grids, lighting poles, industrial warehouses, marine assets and structures, and commercial buildings. Additionally, we have the capability to provide shop sandblasting and painting for clients who require it at their facilities.
Our NACE-certified Engineers work with clients and with abrasive and paints manufacturers to design the paint system that will provide the highest durability at the most economical price. We implement a stringent QC program and safety standards based on OSHA, and we have the qualifications for painting and surface preparation in confined environments (such as water towers, silos and pipelines).

Sample project #1: Rehabilitation of Fakieh Poultry facilities at Jeddah Islamic Port
Fakieh Poultry owns and operates a number of storage facilities in Jeddah Islamic Port. In 2018, it called on BPC to assist with rehabilitation of these facilities.
The works were executed over a period of 12 months and involved sandblasting and application of a triplex paint system to silos, cranes, conveyors, and other steel structures for a total area of ~20,000 m2, as well as the replacement of highly corroded steel elements. The works were successfully handed over in August 2019.
Sample project #2: Rehabilitation of fuel tanks at SWCC Shoaiba
SWCC Shoaiba Plant is the largest desalination facility on the West Coast, and one of the largest in the KSA. As part of its ongoing asset maintenance initiative, SWCC awarded BPC a number of projects for the external rehabilitation of 6 fuel tanks.
The works were executed in 2 stages between 2017 and 2020, and involved the sandblasting and repainting of ~42,000 m2 of steel tanks. The project was handed over successfully in June 2020.
Sample project #3: Rehabilitation of high masts at Jeddah Islamic Port
Steel structures in maritime environments are subject to high corrosion and require frequent rehabilitation.
BPC was called on to assist with the rehabilitation of 50 high masts (38-meter height) in Jeddah Islamic Port. The works were executed in 2017 and involved the sandblasting and repainting of the high masts.
Sample project #4: Rehabilitation of tanks and steel structures at SEPCO facility - Shoaibah
As a private sector operator in Shoaibah Phase III, SEPCO is always investing in the upgrading and rehabilitation of its facilities to ensure an efficient operation.
BPC performed the rehabilitation of a number of water tanks, fire tanks, and CIP area at SEPCO facility with a total area of ~3,000 m2. The works were handed over in mid 2019.
